 Discover yourself from the inside out….Improve balance, muscle tone and flexibility through the practice of traditional postures and simple breathing techniques which have been proven to reduce stress and increase energy levels in people of all ages.

 

Yoga Crunch

Similar to the above yoga description with extra emphasis on strenth using your own body weight.

 

Yoga Chill

Fifteen minutes of optional stretch and relaxation following Yoga Crunch.

 

Senior Yoga

(Beginner) This class will focus on porper technique to increase bone density, muscular strength and balance. Poses will be taught for those needing chair support through floor mat work. Appropriate for beginners, seniors and those wanting to increase their body awaremess.

 

Pilates

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps to not only build flexibility, but also strength, endurance and coordination in the legs, abs, arms and back.  All movements in pilates begins with the core and flows outward to the limbs.

 

Massage

The Chippewa YMCA certified massage therapists offer massage for relaxation, pain relief, muscle soreness and sports related issues. All massages are by appointment only. $40.00 for 1⁄2 hour, $50.00 for one hour, $80.00 for 1 1⁄2 hours. Payment is due at the time of the massage.

 

We also offer massage punch cards. After five massage sessions, the sixth one is free. The YMCA is not responsible for lost, stolen or expired massage gift certificates.
