Safe Baby Presentation - A Red Cross Class
This is a one-hour orientation in infant CPR skills of rescue breathing, choking emergencies and CPR. Hands-on practice on a mannequin, watch a video tape and get instructor guidance. Open to parents, family and friends who wnt to learn the skills but don't need a certification for a work related field.

Lock-Ins
This is for youth groups, churches, school groups, community groups and family gatherings. Is your group ever looking for a fun, safe place to have a lock-in or a swim/gym party? The YMCA can help you design a get together that will cater to your group's needs. Just call the Y for more information.

Parents' Night Out/Kids' Fun Night at the Y
Parents' Night Out is a theme based program with activities planned for your child when you need a night away to relax, rejuvenate and refresh your spirit. The Y provides a well supervised environment. Age appropriate activities include crafts, games, gym time, a movie and swimming time for children ages 5 to 12 years. Late charges will apply if children aren't picked up on time. A snack will be provided.

Wee Tot Make It & Take It Crafts (with parent)
Make craft projects with your special little guy or girl. Join us for an hour of fun and creativity. We'll plan the craft projects and you'll make the fun. Leave the clean up to us. Age 3-5 years welcome. Adults a must with this class!

Let's Get Messy
In this class, chilren will make play dough, paper mache, finger paint and lots more. We'll be at the YMCA and let you guide the children through the fun projects too messy to do at home. Adults are needed to help with this class.

Messy Fun
In this class, children will make paper mache, shaving cream painting, candles, soap and lots more. you create the fun messy projects parents don't want at home. Ages 6-12 years.

Babysitting Class - Red Cross
This course is for the person who wants to know more about the care of babies and children, as well as first aid and safety. learn to change diapers, feed and hold babies, and how to interact and play with small children. Watch a video and practice skills. Book included. Ages 11 and up.

Birthday Parties
Schedule a youth birthday party at the YMCA. The Y provides a room, use of the pool with a lifeguard, racquetball courts, and the Youth/Teen Room. You bring the treats, decorations, and clean-up. Adult supervision required. Reservations are made for Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Limit of 15 children. Arrangements can be made for other types of parties as well.

Story Book Creations
Join in reading a story book with the group. Make a craft project related to the theme of the story, such as a wand, princess crown, plane, or train. We may just color a picture about the story, too. This class is for parents and tots.

Crazy Crafts & More
Spend time creating inexpensive craft projects and assorted cards, boxes and bags with others your age. Have fun using your imagination -- the sky's the limit! Most supplies will be provided. Bring your enthusiasm and see what happens. Ages 6-12 years.

Mother/Son Dance
Moms, have fun with your special little guy on a special evening at the Mother/Son Dance at the YMCA. Grandmas or a special friend can bring the little boy, too. Dance to the music of a disc jockey while you spend time in a decorated ballroom setting. Have your picture taken for a lasting memento of your evening together. Refreshments will be served. Corsages for the ladies and boutonnieres for the boys are included in the cost of the evening. Minimum age is 4 years. Pre-registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Father/Daughter Dance
Dads, have fun with your special little girl on a special evening at the Father/Daughter Dance at the YMCA. Grandpas or a special friend can bring the little girl, too. Senior Prom
Adults and seniors, have fun dancing with your special someone or come alone. Join others on a special afternoon at the Senior Prom dance at the YMCA. Dance to the music of "Blue Moon DJ" as all your favorite music is played, including swing, ballroom, 30s, 40s, 50s, and more. Have your picture taken for a lasting memento of your afternoon together. Refreshments will be served. Corsages for the ladies and boutonnieres for the men are included in the cost of the afternoon. Friday Family Fun Night
The YMCA will host a Family Fun Night with athletic activvities designed to allow school-aged children and their parents to participate together in fun at the YMCA. The fun night will take place one Friday a month, and will feature a different activity each time, including volleyball, dodge ball, basketball, waffle ball, t-ball, and more. We'll even have an Olympic-style night featuring relay races, an obstacle course and more. A snack will be served at the end of play.
