Click here for class schedules.Yoga: Discover yourself from the inside out….Improve balance, muscle tone and flexibility through the practice of traditional postures and simple breathing techniques which have been proven to reduce stress and increase energy levels in people of all ages.
Group Cycling: The group cycling class is a high intensity cardiovascular workout performed to music and stationery bikes. An instructor leads the class through a variety of drills that simulate the different terrains one encounters on an outdoor bike trail. It is simple, fun and easy to follow.
Basic Fitness: Great for beginners or for those that have not worked out for some time. Basic low impact class designed especially for someone that has not participated in fitness classes before. Includes basic floor aerobics along with strength and flexibility training.
Early Bird Fitness: Start your day with a great cardiovascular and strenfth workout. Early Bird Fitness is designed to enhance all aspects of fitness without choreography. To promote healthy camaraderie, Friday’s class consists of a vigorous, competitive game of volleyball. Class meets on the walk/run track.
Kickboxing: A kickboxing class includes kicks and punches and so much more. High intensity with low impact moves. What more could you ask for.
Step/Pump: The aeorbic pump system involves participants using barbells with lighter weight plates for strength intervals between the cardio intervals. Very simple choreography with sports conditioning in mind for both men and women.
Core Conditioning: The core is the body’s center of strength and balance. Regular conditioning of the core muscles is vital for preventing injuries and correcting posture.
Strength Pump: This is a strength class using the pump system as well as other equipment. Cardio exercises are not included. It is a great way to add variety to your strength routine.
Variety Training: Put some excitement into your day with an assortment of fun, physical challenges. High/low impact, step, kickboxing, jump rope, walk/run track, plyometrics, bosu balls, strength and flexibility, any or all.
Advanced Conditioning: Similar to the Variety Class but with a little more intensity.
SilverSneakers IMuscular Strength and Range of Movement: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and /or standing support.
SilverSneaker Yogastretch: Yogastretch will blend three Yoga styles into one to create a harmony of movement for the entire body. It is taught from a seated and standing position to enhance the flow and energy created in combination with restorative breathing exercises.
Zumba Fitness: A fitness party that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout that will blow you away.
Hip Hop Dance/Fitness: Similar to ZUMBA but with a more hip type of music and dance style. Lots of energy and lots of fun and something new.
Kids Zumba: Same music and moves as regular ZUMBA but geared toward the seven to twelve year old age group.
SilverSneaker Cardio Circuit: Standing non-impact choreography designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance alternated with standing upper body conditioning for the SilverSneaker participants. Using a chair for support is optional.

GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING: Find a friend or two and work out together with a personal trainer to develop an intense program to meet your fitness goals. Maximum four participants per one hour session. Group Trainers: Kari or Shannon
THE STARTING LINE FITNESS PROGRAM: This is a 12-week basic program that will help new and current members begin their exercise program. WHO IS THIS FOR? Anyone. Whether you are new to exercise and need help beginning a program or you haven’t participated in an exercise program for a number of years and are looking to begin again. Participants have four, one-on-one appointments with a trained Starting Line coach over the 12 week period. Together, the participants and coach will fit the basic, pre-designed program to meet everyone’s needs and abilities. Participants exercise at their own convenience. The program includes cardiovascular equipment orientation, resistance training, educational information, feedback and encouragement. Those that complete the 12-week program receive a “Starting Line” t-shirt. THIS IS FREE WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP. ($250.00 for non members)
MASSAGE: The Chippewa YMCA certified massage therapists offer massage for relaxation, pain relief, muscle soreness and sports related issues. All massages are by appointment only. We also offer massage punch cards. After five massage sessions, the sixth one is free. $40.00 for 1⁄2 hour, $50.00 for one hour, $80.00 for 1 1⁄2 hours

FALL BOOT CAMP: This program includes intense military type workouts including plyometrics, hopping, jumping, strength training, circuits, stations, jump ropes, sprints, stairs and oh so much more. The workouts take place indoors and outside (whether permitting). It is geared toward the more conditioned exerciser (but can be modified) and will be taught by drill sergeant type instructors with a whistle and a nasty attitude.

PACE SETTERS RUNNING CLUB FOR FALL: Stay in running shape through the fall season by joining our running group. Running routes and cross training workouts for short and long distances are planned out for you by our experienced instructors.

“12 DAYS OF FITNESS” HOLIDAY CROSS TRAINING CHALLENGE: The purpose of this incentive program is to encourage everyone to try different modes of exercise to enhance their training and to sample many of the classes and equipment at the Chippewa Valley YMCA. We also want to keep you exercising through the holidays. There are specific YMCA activities to participate in and a log sheet to record your progress. Holiday Challenge flyers and log sheets will be kept in the Cardio room. The challenge runs December 1st through December 22nd. All participants must be YMCA members and 13 years of age or older. A prize is awarded to those that complete the challenge.
